Stackable rebate feature
The Home Efficiency Electric Home Rebate Act (HEEHRA) makes upgrading your home more affordable with its stackable rebate feature. This means you can combine HEEHRA rebates with other federal, state, and local incentives to maximize your savings on energy-efficient upgrades.
To take advantage of this stackable rebate, work with a TECH Clean California-certified contractor trained in HEEHRA rebates. These contractors can help identify additional incentives, like those from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), utility rebates, and state programs, to significantly lower the cost of your project.
For example, by stacking these resources, you can reduce upfront costs for upgrades such as heat pumps, electric stoves, or improved insulation—making it easier to create a home that's comfortable, energy-efficient and cost-effective. If you’re planning to upgrade to electric appliances, now’s the perfect time to explore how HEEHRA can help you save more.
